Flexibility is one of the most important components of a successful golf swing.  Although physical strength in a welcome attribute, without flexibility it is redundant.  The range of motion and rotational speed one can attain in their golf swing is all down to the flexibility of the golfer, and the greater the flexibility, the better chance you have of achieving the optimum golf swing.
