My Golf Fitness.com was formed after seeing many golfers trying to improve their game through exercise but unfortunately most of the golfers we have come across “which is thousands” didn’t really make any difference to their game through there fitness program.

Why? 

Most golfers see exercises in magazines or go to their local gym or even

hire a personal trainer that advertises golf specific training just to try and cash in on the golf market. The problem is unless the trainer has studied biomechanics and functional training in relation to golf or done a golf specific course they are not able to provide effective golf specific programs. 

Most of the so called golf specific programs people tend to be given are more like a traditional gym programme with a few rotational exercises thrown in for good measure. Sound Familiar?

If you have been given a golf specific programme you SHOULD have been assessed either biomechanically or functionally looking initially at your flexibility, stability, and posture. There are a number of ways to assess golfers but the common ground amongst golf fitness specialists is that unless a golfer is flexible enough stable enough and has good posture(static & dynamic) then the chances of them ever playing consistence pain free golf are rare.
Make a real difference to you game employ a Golf Fitness specialist not a personal trainer that says they can do golf fitness.
